Instructions & Safety

Before you light Prepare the candle

Trim the wick to about 1/4 inch to ensure a stable, even flame.

Choose a safe spot

Place the candle on a stable, heat-resistant surface away from drafts, curtains, and other flammable materials.

Keep it out of reach

Keep candles out of reach of children & pets.

Space them out

If using multiple candles, leave at least 12 cm (4 inches) of space between them.

Never leave it unattended

Always stay in the same room as a burning candle.

Do not move it

Never move a lit candle, as this can cause a fire or injury.

Keep it away from flammable items

Ensure nothing can fall onto the candle and it isn't placed under shelves.

Avoid burning too low

Stop burning the candle when there is about (1/4) to (1/2) inch of wax left to prevent the container from cracking.

When you extinguish the flame Use a snuffer

Use a snuffer or a spoon to put out the flame instead of blowing it out, which can scatter sparks and hot wax.

Ensure it's out

Double-check that the flame is completely out and there are no smoldering embers before leaving the area.

Avoid using candles when sleepy

Never use candles if you feel sleepy or are under the influence of alcohol or medication.
